His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda wanted his disciples to write daily to solidify their Kṛṣṇa Conscious realizations. Some of his followers did, most did not. There were apparent time constraints and much devotional service to do in those passionate early days of the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement.

Even though it was Srila Prabhupāda’s instruction to us to write on a daily basis, his request was not taken as priority by most of his young followers. We were young, we were restless and immature, but we were very fortunate mercy cases who had taken shelter at the feet of the bona fide spiritual master.

Better late than never, as they say.

PurelyPrabhupada.org is one of the websites of Purely Prabhupada Inc. It is the place for our like-minded team members to write, speak, and share inspirations, understandings, and practical tips for how to practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness at home, all based on the teachings that Srila Prabhupāda so painstakingly and patiently gave to us.

These expressions of devotion cover subject matter that is most personally important to each contributor and will thus have the greatest beneficial effect to the listener.

The presentations are relevant to the current state of affairs of the world, and because the perspective is from the Absolute Truth science of the Godhead, will not get old and tossed out like the day old news of the mundane world.

What is presented here is personally distilled and realized application of the teachings presented by Srila Prabhupāda. There is no superficial “lip service” or “preaching at someone.” This is us.
